CMD Tutorials For Beginners (Part-1) How To Create Folder By CMD

How To Change Drive Directory In CMD:

At first, as usual, open cmd.

I have to do type some code that I previously mentioned on this post . I will do this again because there are slightly little changes that you have to do browse drives. To understand  properly I have to do that.

Firstly, you have to go c directory from recent directory. Now I am here.

To do go to c drive directory, we have to type that cd.. that I showed you my this post.

We do this directly in another way. We can go to directly c directory using this code

cd/

You see that now you are on C directory.

Then We have to change directory system file that remains in windows folder So, Let’s change directory.

type

cd windows

After that type again

cd system 32

We can do this directly by typing this code

cd windows/system32

We can not change directly from system32 to other directory we have to back again C directory because

it’s admin directory. 🙁

we have to back directly C directory.ok.

type

cd/

Then go to again windows directory.

☺Yeah…It’s my time.

Now I want to go D drive directory. How’s that possible? Tell me.  Need not to be worried, my friends?

Am I not here, now? 🙂

I am showing. It’s so simple. Usually when we change directory we have to type cd but here you need not type that. Just type

d:

Of course we  can directly change directory from C drives

♥ Wait wait !!! Don’t angry at me. It’s simple attempt to show practically that you can not change directory from system32.

Now we can change folder directory again by typing cd than type yourdirectoryname  as usual or to create folder, type md than type yourdirectoryname. if you have problem you can see my previous post. click here.

ok. after navigation directory  we can change directly other drives

suppose, we are now MyMeetBook directory that I crated using cmd. If you can not do this please

Now we want to go directly C drive . So type only that

C:

☺hurrah !!!! we again changed directory.

If we are on D drive we can also switch another directory. No problem, friends.

Just type

C:

In this way, we can change drive directory.
